Maritime
Information Services of North America (MISNA)
MISNA is a non profit maritime
organization established to provide information, communications
and services to ensure safe, secure, efficient and  environmentally
sound maritime operations. MISNA is comprised of Marine Exchanges
and Associations around the U.S. and Canada that represent thousands
of maritime companies. MISNA members serve in the capacity as “honest
brokers” of information that is of value to the maritime community,
the Coast Guard and other agencies.
MISNA established ASVTS as a tool to aid the dissemination of accurate
and timely information on the movement of vessels to entities involved
in providing for safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible
maritime operations.
